Sepia Scenes# 39

Welcome! Here are some of the Sepia Scenes thumbnails from last week that were particularly good:

Left to right: Karen, Judi, Elaine Ling, Eyad, Felisol

Something different this week: I colored the sepia photo and then posterized it a little.

I liked coloring the dress and the hair and adding a little posterization. Nice effect don't you think?

Sometimes taking a picture of a picture comes out real nice!

Sign Mr. Linky and leave comments okay?

Great choice of pictures from last week Mary!

And I really like your shots.
I don't know where Mr Linky is for the moment so I put me link here and go back in a few.

Happy Sepia Scenes!

Here is my offering this week. I'll keep checking for Mr. Linky. He is misbehavin' again.

Your sepia this week is really beautiful. I'm going to pull out my photo tinting pens again. The results are always stunning.

Mr. Linky is AWOL again around the blogosphere, but thanks for featuring Eyad's sepia portrait of his brother here!
Today @ Purrchance To Dream, I have my favorite furry sepia subject, Daphne, is a portrait that I really enjoyed making.
After sepia-izing the photo, I used the Orton-ish effect on it, and really liked the outcome.
I'm having a blast playing with pics on Picnik/Flickr ~ especially sepia-izing 'em!
Have great day,
~Mo

Cool photo. Nice touch with the coloring and effects.

Here's mine: Is that a camera in your pocket?

That Mr. Linky... he needs a stern talking-to.

Lovely choices -- i was especially fond of Elaine's from last week. And I really like the image you chose for this week!

A picture of a picture - now that's an idea!
I love the processing Mary!
I think I'd like her in red. I'm imagining the work behind her in shades of red and brown. But I'm thinking there could be purple in that pattern. :)
You make things so much fun Mary!Hope you're feeling much better.

My post is up and I'll check back for the elusive Mr. Linky.

Dear Teach Mary,
Nothing in my p-shop about posterization.
Have to ask Gunnar...
The ballerina, so slim and elegant is perfect in blue silk. Definitely 100% delicious silk.
Hope you have a quick recovery from that dental operation.
It sounded scary.

I was late commenting.
Summer guests arrived just as I was posting my sepia.
Thanks for posting my picture.
As you will see the "glory" is not mine alone.

I think that the overall form of the dancer is best shown in the sepia. The louder colors of blue and yellow distract us from the dancer's style. The attention thus can be paid to the artist and her artistry...

Actually, I like the "feel" of both phtos! Extraordinary how different a photo can be just by adding or removing a splash of colour!

Here is my post for this week!

Dreaming on the Moon on a Winter's Afternoon

Hope you are feeling much better now!

She's so graceful. Adding colors to her hair and dress gives it a complete fresh feel :)

I see Mister Linky is on strike once again..we can deal with that :)

I like the way this looks. I often think sepia photo's look better with just a bit of color in them.
