Sepia Scenes #72

Doorway to Nowhere
Socrates Sculpture Park

Socrates Sculpture Park is an outdoor exhibition space for sculpture. It is located at the intersection of Broadway and Vernon Boulevard in the neighborhood of Long Island City, Queens, New York City, United States, North America. In addition to exhibition space, the park offers an arts education program and job training.

I applied a sepia tone from my Adobe Photoshop 7, then applied an old sepia tone from Photobucket. I faded the Photobucket sepia to take the pink out of it.

Sepia Scenes #71

Hi Everybody!

Here are my nephew and grand-nephew, father and son, watching the Superbowl a couple of Sundays ago.

I photo-edited in half sepia which as you can see keeps some of the color while sepia-izing the rest. I also used a black halo as a kind of frame.

Mr. Linky is below for you. Leave a comment if you like but try real hard to visit your fellow Sepia Scenes posters.

I thought this bright yellow zinnia looked attractive in sepia.

Sepia Scenes #70

On this snowy day in New York City it's Sepia Scenes!

You're looking at the BACK of Hempstead House and the view when you turn to look out to the Long Island Sound.

Go here to see the FRONT.

I love the second photo which, to me, looks like a real old photo.

Sepia Scenes #69

Welcome to Sepia Scenes! Glad to have you stop by and leave a comment!

I have a sepia Valentine for you today.

I know there's another Sepia Scenes post before February 14 but I just wanted to offer you this photo!

If you would like me to send you a Valentine's postcard in sepia send me your snail mail in e-mail. My e-mail address is at the bottom on the right. I'll send it in an envelope and I'll leave it blank so you can send it to someone you love!

The quote by Elizabeth Barrett Browning says:
What I do and what I dream include thee, as the wine must taste of its own grapes.

The copyright says: Vintage putto (cherub) with rose in sepia. c Mary Tomaselli 2010
