This is a photo from many years back, the 1990s. A robin laid these eggs in a nest she built on my backyard fence. I scanned the color picture and used Photobucket Online to get the sepia effect. The in Adobe Photoshop I colorized one of the eggs blue.

Just gorgeous Mary. One of these days, I'll have the proper software to create with this great technique.
Thanks Mary for your visit. In fact I didn't colorize myself but used a softer setting caled "antique" which doesn't change the photo quite as much.
That's so cool! I love spot color, but I never thought about doing it in a sepia image.

Hi Mary! I like how you live out that egg into blue:) Nice one!
I love the way you colorized one egg blue. Happy Thanksgiving.
That blue is so striking against the sepia. I've always had a thing for Robin's Egg Blue myself ;-).
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I love the way the color stands out. I am going to have to try to figure out if I can do something like that.
Lovely Mary! I liked the effect of the one coloured egg. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

How appropriate...I don't know why I haven't joined before. I love scenes done in sepia.
The dominant sepia tones plus feathered colour and strong blue of the egg create a fascinating, unique phot! Beautiful!
Oh Mary it is truly beautiful. I wish I had PS to do everything like you do.
Well maybe someday. I am very very late. My PC was down completely until mid day yesterday.
Oh my Mary you do such wonderful work. I love the one blue egg and it looks like you could reach right in and pick it up.
The coloring is perfect.
Happy Thanksgiving!!:-)

Great editing, Mary - very creative, especially the re-coloring. I also like the idea to scan an "old" photo. :-)
