What a beautiful portrait, she has wonderfully expressive eyes.

(I'm going to cheat and join in here this week since the WW photo I just shot and put up yesterday is fairly sepia-esque. Hope you don't mind :).)

I do agree with Robin. A beautiful lady with very expressive eyes. She´s wearing a gorgeous dress indeed.

Lovely portrait of your grandmother!

In those days, a portrait was so important, it seems as if the subjects dressed up as nicely as they could. Without the disposable digital cameras of today, we give that no thought. The next picture could be years away, so each photo shoot was a truly special events. She is a proud looking matriarch, elegant and lovely!

I'm struck by how tiny her waist is.
