Amazing, dramatic atmosphere in both shots! Wonderful in sepia! I think my favourite is the first one with those lonely looking tracks as a focus leading into (or from) bare clumps of trees!
Hi Mary, I really like your Sepia! That last photo is beautiful done in Sepia. My Sepia is posted. It's kind of long, so keep scrolling down. It's my niece Zoey in Sepia. Have a great day!!
I spent part of this afternoon photographing a cemetery here in Pensacola and I love this weeping woman and find it to be a grand gesture that I can only imagine having someone erect on my behalf. I recently made a posting about monuments in cemeteries here that you may (or may not) find interesting.
Mmm.... did I miss something? Shouldn't this be dated 1/21?
Hope I'm linking to the right week... I gotta be... my link from last week isn't here... yeah, this has to be right.
That first shot looks a lot like my neighborhood this morning. A layer of frozen slush on every street and sidewalk until mid afternoon. But it'll be gone in a day or two.
The grave monument is remarkable. Captures a lot of emotion. Although, I was a little startled at first before I read the larger name at the bottom. For just a moment I thought Eric Clapton had died and I missed it!
These are wonderful! I tried my first one today and can see I have a lot to learn about doing this. I love cemetery scenes in any color and these are just outstanding.

A beautiful drama! Very touching scene!
They are both lovely photos. The sepia adds something extra to both.

I'm glad I finally got to join your meme. I love Sepia. Your pictures are wonderful. Very emotional statue.
I LOVE that second one!!! The sepia makes it even more dramatic! Mine will be up any minute now!!
I almost did a snow covered road - great minds. :)
I love that marker. It sure has stood the test of time. Your effect is right on with this Mary.
Thank you for being a great hostess! Stay warm.
I made my comment and went back to sign Mr. Linky and now I can't see him. :(
Oh that last picture is beyond good. It is perfect in sepia.
The sepia is perfect for that last one, and great for the first one as well.
Ohhhh...those are beautiful and need to be framed asap.
So dramatic and amazing.
Don't know what happened to my first comment?? Don't see Mr.Linky.
Mine is up. Both great pictures in sepia/
What a dramatic gravestone, it tells such a beautiful story.
Here's mine for this week:
Rosh Pina Alley
Poignant and beautiful, the statue over the tombstone pulls at the heart stings.
You've chosen two good photos for sepia, MaryT! Such emotion in the second photo!
the expanseiveness (is that a word?) of the first scene is breathtaking
the light coating of snow on the statue makes it even more poignant.
beautiful Mary, absolutely beautiful!
These are so beautiful! The sepia really brings out the viewer's emotions.
Cemetery art, in my opinion, is always so poignant and lovely, speaking of the deceased.
I love sepia photography.

The sense of loneliness the wife must have felt is captured on her husband's tombstone.
Sorry the comment is late, the past week has been a hectic one.
